We feel the Load Lok® is the best  bedliner especially if you work your truck. By being a skid bedliner I have discovered that it is easier to load and unload cargo by sliding it on/off. Anytime I want to make my bedliner antiskid all I have to do is place an inexpensive rubber mat on the bed!

CONSIDERING A SPRAY-ON BEDLINER?

Here is a breakdown of the spray-on bedliner features as compared with our Load Lok® drop-in bedliner.
These features are taken directly from the brochures and advertisements of the different spray-on bedliner manufacturers.

Details

Prevents rust & corrosion  yes  yes The Load Lok®'s ribbed floor design is engineered to promote airflow between the truck and the bedliner.
Permanent yes no In-house studies on customer satisfaction show that most truck owners do not want a permanent bedliner. A worn, red bedliner in a black truck won't be so easy to sell in a few years.
Molds around tie downs & toolboxes yes no Why protect only part of your bed? You sure don't paint around the furniture in your house.
Lifetime Warranty some yes, some no yes Installed as directed, the Load Lok® is warranted against cracking, warping and splitting for as long as you own your truck.
Insulates vehicle from noise & vibrations yes yes Installed as directed, the Load Lok® will be no noisier than a spray-in.
Non-skid surface  yes no So what happens when you want to slide something heavy in and out of your bed?
Eliminates space loss of drop-in bedliners yes yes The Load Lok®'s most basic function is to maximize load capacity through cargo security.
Resists Scratches & Abrasions no yes Unlike the Load Lok®, soft polyurethane has proven itself to be easily scratched and gouged.
Will not crack, warp or split yes yes The Load Lok® is warranted against cracking, warping and splitting as long as you own your truck.
Available in many colors yes no Mismatch of colors and the unappealing look of a faded, worn colored liner have prompted more people to ask for the classic black Load Lok®.
Easily Repaired  no yes Repairing a defective/improperly installed spray-on can be costly and may permanently damage your truck.
Reduces Denting no yes A 1/4" layer of soft polyurethane which contours your truck will not offer dent protection from heavy moving cargo as it collides with the truck bed.
Brittle ABS Plastic Sheet  No  No The York Load Lok® is made from the highest quality High Molecular Weight Polyethylene available, not ABS.
Prevents Load Shifts no yes Unlike a spray-on, the Load Lok® will secure small items, large items, heavy items, round items and cargo with wheels.
Now a few more things to consider that they don't tell you:

Details

Did you know this? yes no It's a fact that Manhiem Auto Auctions classifies a spray-on bedliner as a 'deduct' when assessing the value of a truck.
Fading/Blistering from the sun yes no Spray-ons have a tendency to fade and blister from the sun over time. The Load Lok® stands up to all the elements without fading, cracking or warping.
Difficult to repair yes no It's almost impossible to patch a spray-on bedliner and maintain color and surface integrity. York does not repair a defective bedliner, we will replace it (see warranty for details).
Company Reliability no yes Most spray-ons are done by independents that may not be around when problems arise. York is committed to complete customer satisfaction and will be here when you need us.
