Seth Meyer and Sean Flynn’s Unit

Hey Ed,
    Were in Iraq. North of Baghdad in a place called Kirkuk. We're not settled in yet though. We are actually leaving here at the end of the month. So we are still living out of our duffel bags and living in the temporary tents. Rumors are flying about where they are sending us next. I guess wherever III corps want us.    Where is your brother at? If he's here tell him Sean $ I are in Co H 121st INF (ABN) (LRS). But like I said we are only here till the end of the month.    I cant think of anything that we would need just yet, Until we get settled in somewhere we have to carry everything we have. So just the bare essentials for now. But I will be sure to let you know when we get somewhere and settle down for a bit.
   How are the Legion meetings going? Anything new going on? I wish I got that flagpole up at Benjamin Hill before I left. When I get home next summer I'll be taking some time off before going back to work and getting that up is Priority 1.
   I give Sean your email address. Our internet time is limited and can be tough to get to sometimes.

Hey Ed
      Good to hear from you. Sean and I are good. We are in different platoons, so we don't 

see each other all that often. We trained in Ft.Hood TX from June 1 till Aug 12. 

Then went to Kuwait, and are leaving for Iraq in a couple hours. The weather here is 

incredibly hot. 120's everyday (no wonder they have been fighting over here for centuries. 

This heat will make you crazy!) You get used to it though. We are going to Northern Iraq, 

but only for a couple weeks to pick up some gear then we haven't been told were we are 

going next. Since we are a LRS unit, I would think we are going to one of the east/west 

borders. that's just a guess though. Tell everyone I said hello and I'll send another 

email when we get settled in to wherever we end up.
